Noise Ordinance

Park City’s Noise Ordinance is found within Municipal Code 6-3 and is in effect across all Park City Municipal boundaries to promote public health and the peace and quiet of the residents of the City.

Enforcement of the Noise Ordinance falls within the Building Department for violations related to construction sites and within the Police Department for all other violations including  special events, and community or private functions or events.

For questions or concerns related to any other activity, or outside of regular business hours, contact the Police Department non-emergency line at (435) 615-5500.

Relief of noise restrictions may be considered by the Building Official for construction sites and Chief of Police for all other activities. To be considered for an exception, complete this application. and email the completed form to Lieutenant Jay Randall at Please allow a minimum of 48 hours before the activity for processing.
