REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

for

PARK CITY MINE TUNNEL RECONSTRUCTION

 

PROJECT NAME:  Pre-Construction and Construction Services (Early Contractor Involvement) for the Park City Mine Tunnel Reconstruction

PROPOSALS DUE BY:  3:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Park City Public Works Offices, 1053 Iron Horse Drive, Park City, UT 84060, Attention: Griffin Lloyd, Public Utilities Engineer. Proposals will not be accepted after this time.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Park City Municipal Corporation (City), located in Summit County, Utah, is soliciting written Proposals from qualified firms or teams (Respondent) to provide pre-construction and construction services for the Park City Mine Tunnel Reconstruction (Project) construction using the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) delivery method, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal.  The City intends to award the Project to the most qualified firm or team (ECI Contractor). It is anticipated that the Project ECI construction services will consist of two construction contract phases: 1) pre-construction services; and 2) construction services.

Reponses to the RFP shall be submitted by firms that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in this RFP.  In addition, all interested firms or teams shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of trained personnel, support services, specialized subconsultants, and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. The ECI Contractor will work with the City and the Project architects, engineers, and consultants (AE Team) throughout the duration of the Project to meet the City’s overall needs, goals, and objectives for the Project.

Park City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received. Furthermore, the City shall have the right to waive any informality or technicality in proposals received when in the best interest of the City.
