Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan (CWPP) Update Signed

Park City's Council adopted the 2021 updated Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan on May 27th. The plan and appendices can be viewed in the box to the right.

Open Flames and Fireworks Ban in Effect

Based on existing conditions, and ongoing historic drought levels, Park City Municipal Corporation has enacted an open flames and fireworks ban, effective June 16th, 2021 until further notice.

City Evacuation Plan

Developed with the help of multiple agency stakeholders and City departments, should evacuation of the City or parts of the City, become necessary, this plan provides the framework to conduct an appropriately-scaled, safe, coordinated, and controlled evacuation, by visitors, workers, and residents in the impacted area.

And once utilities, resources, and circumstances permit, conduct a safe, coordinated and timely re-entry to the evacuated area.
