Invitation to Bid
Questions and Answers from potential bidders as of 11-6-23
Park City Municipal Corporation (“PCMC” or the “City”) is accepting bids for the construction of the McLeod Creek & Meadows Drive Trailhead parking lots. Bids must be uploaded to the Utah Public Procurement Place (SciQuest) by 2:00 p.m. MST, Monday, November 13, 2023. At 3:00 p.m. that same day bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in a hybrid meeting via Zoom or in the East Conference Meeting Room at 445 Marsac Avenue, Park City, UT 84060, email zachary@alliance-engr.com for the Zoom meeting information.
In the event of difficulty submitting proposals electronically, proposals can be dropped off at the office of the City Recorder, located at 445 Marsac Avenue, Third Floor – Executive Department, Park City, UT 84060.
The work involves the installation of two asphalt parking lots, installation of sidewalks, installation of a retaining wall, trailhead signage and interpretive signage, and restoration of the existing McLeod Creek Trailhead. Minor site preparation/earthwork and landscape restoration may be required.
Bidding Documents will be available Thursday October 19, 2023, and may be obtained from Alliance Engineering, Inc., via email request to: zachary@alliance-engr.com or on the Utah Public Procurement Place (SciQuest) Website.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid is required.

PCMC reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or waive any informalities, inconsistencies or technicalities in the bids when deemed in the best interest of PCMC.
Bidders or their agents are instructed not to contact City employees, agents or contractors of the City, selection committee members, the Mayor’s office or staff, members of the City Council, or attempt to externally manipulate or influence the procurement process in any way, other than through the instructions contained herein, from the date of release of this Invitation to Bid to the date of execution of the agreement resulting from this solicitation. The City, in its sole discretion, may disqualify a Bidder for violating this provision.
