The Park City Water Department is hosting a neighborhood meeting on water quality concerns and results from recent studies in the Thaynes Canyon/Three Kings area. Over the past year Water Department and consultants from Water Works Engineers have been evaluating the causation of the 2010 water quality incident and strategies to avoid future incidents.
Join us on Thursday, March 15 for a neighborhood report on the findings of the November 2010 water quality incident study and the changes that have been implemented to avoid future incidents. There will also be an update on upcoming water infrastructure improvements including the opening of the Quinns Junction Water Treatment Plant in April 2012 and planned water line replacement as part of the summer 2012 Empire Avenue Reconstruction. There will be a brief presentation followed by a Q & A opportunity with water department staff.
