The Engineering Department coordinates, reviews, and approves all private-funded public improvements initiated by the development community, from design through construction to completion. The Engineering Team works closely with the Planning and Building Teams to accomplish this task.

In addition, the Engineering Team reviews and manages many of the City's capital improvement projects. The Department's Public Improvements Inspector inspects all water line installation and work that occurs within the public right-of-way.

 

Park City Supplemental Standards and Specifications

The City has adopted the American Public Works Association (APWA) Standard Specifications and Plans as the standards for all construction and improvements in the public right-of-way. The Engineering Team additionally maintains and updat the City Supplemental Standards and Specifications to be used in conjunction with the APWA standards.

TRAFFIC IMPACT STUDY GUIDELINES

The Traffic Impact Study Guidelines provide a framework for when a transportation impact study may be required for new land use developments or redevelopments in Park City. The required contents of the transportation impact study are also provided in these guidelines.

ROSSI HILL RECONSTRUCTION PARK CITY, UTAH

 INVITATION TO BID

Separate sealed bids must be submitted to Park City Municipal Corporation (“PCMC”) by  Corey Legge at the Engineering Division Offices located at 445 Marsac Ave., P.O. (Box 1480) Park City, Utah 84060,  by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021, for a public bid opening at 2:05 p.m. that same day. Bidding Documents will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on April 26, 2021. Request instructions on or after this time for obtaining bidding documents from Alex Drake at Ward Engineering Group, adrake@wardeg.com.

 

Rossi Hill is a local, residential street. Construction will generally consist of roadway surface reconstruction, intersection improvements, roadway widening, water line replacement, and new surface and underground storm drain improvements. The total roadway length is approximately 3,000 feet.

 

Bid Security of five percent (5%) is required to accompany each bid. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021, in the Council Chambers at 445 Marsac Ave, Park City. PCMC reserves the right to reject all bids and rebid the project, and/or make reductions in, or expand the scope of work, and waive any minor irregularities. It is anticipated that the City Council will consider the lowest responsive, responsible bid on Thursday, May 27, 2021  for award.
