Park City Hosts Spring Projects Open House: Community Invited to Learn, Share, and Connect 

Park City, Utah – Park City Municipal invites community members to attend the Spring Projects Open House on Tuesday, May 13, 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the Park City Library. This interactive event highlights over 20 initiatives and major projects underway across the City and provides an opportunity for residents to connect directly with City teams, offer feedback, and learn about what’s coming up for the municipality in the spring and summer. 

“This is your chance to see what’s happening in the community and share your thoughts with us,” said Mayor Nann Worel. “From long-range planning and recreation upgrades to improving our transportation systems, we’re excited to share our progress on these projects directly with residents.” 

Highlighted projects include: 

  •  Park City General Plan Update - Final Community Presentation The Planning Department hosts its final community-wide open house for the General Plan Update starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Santy Auditorium.
  • Re-create 248: Future Transit Planning for the S.R. 248 Corridor Learn about potential transit alternatives being explored through a joint study between Park City and UDOT to improve mobility from Quinn’s Junction to Old Town.
  • PC MARC Outdoor Aquatics Remodel Check out final designs for a major renovation of the PC MARC’s outdoor aquatic facilities, including a new lap pool, zero-entry access, water slide, and climbing wall.
  • Homestake Road Improvements and other Construction Updates Learn about upcoming roadway and infrastructure improvements for Homestake Road and other construction around town.
  • Kid's Bike Check Bring your child’s bike for a spring safety check with Trails and Open Space Rangers, Summit Bike Share, and Basin Recreation.
