Park City Municipal to Host Running for Office Workshop Ahead of 2025 Election

Park City, Utah - Park City Municipal is hosting a Running for Office Workshop to provide information to Park City residents who may be interested in filing to run for Mayor or City Council in the upcoming 2025 Municipal Election. 

The workshop, to be held Tuesday, May 6 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, and livestreamed on Zoom here, will cover candidate filing requirements, campaign regulations, the roles and responsibilities of elected officials, the transition from private resident to public officeholder, and opportunities to serve on Park City's boards and commissions. 

Park City residents will elect a Mayor and two City Councilmembers this election cycle. The filing window for prospective candidates is June 1-9. Candidates must file in person at City Hall during standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).
