Personally Identifiable Information
Park City Municipal websites do not require visitors to routinely provide personal information to visit our sites or download information. We may request that you voluntarily provide personally identifiable information, such as name, account number, physical address, email address, telephone number, social security number, credit or bank information, in order to provide requested specialized services, but such information is handled as it would be on an in-person visit to a municipal office.However, we may collect information about you that is not personally identifiable, using cookies from third-party partners such as Google and Facebook. Examples of that type of information may include IP address, time of visit, type of internet browser or computer operating system, and the domain name of the website from which you linked to our site, as well as demographics and interests data such as age, gender, and affinity categories. This type of information does not include anything that identifies users personally.
We use this data as part of our statistical analysis on the use of our website so we may better design online services and improve access to them. You can opt out of having this analytics data collected using Google Analytics' Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Constituent E-mail Addresses
In order to provide you better service, Park City Municipal may request your email address to keep you advised of future information. Once collected, such information is stored electronically indefinitely. We will only contact you if so requested by you. E-mail addresses obtained as a result of a request to the municipal site will not be sold or given to outside companies. E-mail or other information requests sent to the municipal website may be maintained in order to respond to the request, forward that request to the appropriate department, communicate updates to the municipal page that may be of interest to citizens, or to provide the city web designer with valuable customer feedback to assist in improving the site. Individuals will be provided with the ability "opt out" at anytime of any communications regarding new service updates.

We are committed to data security and the data quality of personally identifiable information that is either available from or collected by our municipal websites, and have taken reasonable precautions to protect personally identifiable information from loss, misuse or alteration. Any third parties responsible for this information are committed to the same principles, and also are required by contract to follow the same policies and guidelines as the state of Utah in protecting this information. Unless otherwise prohibited by state or federal law, rule or regulation the individual is granted the ability to access and correct personally identifiable information whether or not the information inaccuracy was accidental or by created unauthorized access.
Non Park City Municipal Websites
Various websites may be linked through www.parkcity.org. Many of these sites, including private sector sites, are not subject to the same regulations as governmental websites.
