  1. Why are we revising the Design Guidelines?
    The Design Guidelines were intended to be a living document that was reviewed and revised on a regular basis. The Design Guidelines have not been reviewed in detail since their adoption in 2009. Staff has set forth an ambitious schedule to complete Design Guideline revisions by the end of 2016.

  2. What is the procedure for revising the Design Guidelines?
    The Historic Preservation Board shall review and forward a positive recommendation to the Planning Commission and City Council for the proposed revisions to the Design Guidelines.  This process is outlined in Land Management Code (LMC) 15-11-11. DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR PARK CITY’S HISTORIC DISTRICTS AND HISTORIC SITES.  Additionally, the Park City Council passed Ordinance 2017-42 to incorporate these guidelines into LMC 15-13 DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR HISTORIC DISTRICTS AND HISTORIC SITES and changes to these Design Guidelines are an amendment to the LMC.
