The Planning Commission is evaluating Land Management Code amendments regarding lot combinations in the Historic Residential Low - Density, Historic Residential - 1, Historic Residential - 2, and Historic Residential Medium Zoning Districts. On May 10, 2023, the Planning Department issued notice of a pending ordinance outlining the following:

  • A maximum lot size of 5,625 square feet, or three 25 x 75-foot Old Town Lots, for Single-Family Dwellings
  • A maximum lot size of 3,750 square feet, or two Old Town lots, for Single-Family Dwellings, and of 7,500 square feet, or four Old Town lots, for Duplexes
  • A maximum lot size of 3,750 square feet for Single-Family Dwellings, 7,500 square feet for Duplexes, 11,250 square feet for Triplexes, and 15,000 square feet for Fourplexes
  • No maximum lot size for Historic Sites designated on the Park City Historic Sites Inventory 

Please provide your input! Public hearings with the Planning Commission are scheduled for May 24, July 12, and August 23, 2023, at 5:30 PM in City Hall Council Chambers (445 Marsac Avenue). The Planning Commission may forward a recommendation for City Council's consideration. A City Council public hearing date is not yet scheduled and will be publicly noticed at a future date.
