Michael  MICHAEL O'KEEFE, USPTA, PTR, Director of Tennis
A native of Nantucket Island, MA, Michael previously served as the General Manager / Director of Tennis at South Beach Racquet Club in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Previously, He was a Head Professional for Van Der Meer Tennis University and World Class Training Academy. Throughout his 20+ year teaching career, Michael has coached and taught players at every level of the game. Michael is certified as a PTR National Tester and Clinician, USPTA, and formerly PPTA (Platform Tennis) and PSIA (Skiing). A Graduate of the Holderness School, Michael played his collegiate tennis at NCAA Div. III Ithaca College, earning conference honors. An avid competitor, Michael plays hockey, skis and bikes any time he is not on the teaching court.  Michael and his wife Helaine have a tennis playing daughter, Phelan.

Heather  HEATHER NICHOLAS, USPTA Professional, Tennis Operation Supervisor 

Heather was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, started playing competitive tennis at the age of 8.  During her junior and senior year of high school she attended John Newcombe’s tennis academy in Texas.  After being a nationally ranked junior player, Heather played college tennis at the NCAA Div.I University of Arizona.  Shortly after college Heather turned her passion for playing tennis into teaching.  As a PTR Professional and USPTA Elite Pro, Heather has spent the last 20 plus years working with all levels of adults and juniors, including nationally ranked juniors at the Advantage Tennis Academy in Irvine, California.  After returning to Park City, she was named the Director of Tennis at Cliff Drysdale Tennis at Red Ledges in Heber, Utah.  Heather and her husband Dave, have two professional playing boys: Zach (Golf) and Hunter (Tennis).

 Skosh SKOSH BERWALD, Senior Staff, USPTA Professional

Born in Okinawa, Japan, Skosh started playing tennis at age 6, competitively at age 10. He attended the NCAA Div. I University of Idaho on a scholarship where he played #1 and #2 singles and #1 doubles and earned a B.A. in Interior Design and minors in Art and Ceramics. He moved to Europe where he played professionally in the German Tennis Leagues. Skosh taught for Vic Braden-high tech tennis in Germany, and American Tennis Academy in Austria, and pro tennis in Italy for the following 7 years. Skosh moved back to Utah and to Park City 1996 and has been teaching ever since. Fluent in German, Skosh’s hobbies include skiing, biking, surfing, and art.  Married to Cynthia, he never misses a chance to play with his two beautiful children, Coco and Charlie.

 Tim Donnelly TIM DONNELLY, Senior Staff, USPTA Professional 

Tim was born and raised in Australia. He began playing tennis competitively at the age of 14. He has been playing for school, university and at club level. Tim is PTR certified in Adult and High Performance, working with many of Park City’s top juniors and USTA Team players in his long tenure at the MARC. Tim enjoys the lifestyle Park City offers; golf, biking, and snowboarding.  Tim and his wife Erin, have a wonderful son, Boone.

 Hannah Shephard HANNAH SHEPHARD, PTR Certified, Pro Shop

Hannah was raised in Bend, Oregon. She found her love of the game of tennis at age six and began playing competitively at age 10. While competing as a junior member of the United States Tennis Association she earned a ranking in the top 40 in the Pacific Northwest Championship Division. Hannah’s interscholastic experience also included participation in the 2011 World Team Tennis Junior Nationals and a selection to compete in the 2012 WTT Junior Nationals. Hannah continued on to play tennis at the NCAA Div. II Montana State University Billings and graduated in July of 2016 with a degree in business marketing and a minor in coaching. She has coached nonprofessionally for the past six years in several different places including at Carmel Valley Tennis Camp, which is ranked in the top five best tennis camps in the nation. Her coaching has now brought her to Park City as she works towards her PTR and USPTA certification. She loves sharing her tennis knowledge with her students so they can develop their own passion for the sport of tennis. When Hannah’s not working, she can be found hiking, learning how to ski, and other outdoor activities around Salt Lake City and Park City. 

 Dillon DILLON BUNT, Senior Staff, PTR Professional

Dillon is from Fair Haven, New Jersey and began playing tennis at the age of 4. His collegiate career began at Saint Michael’s College, NCAA Div. II, before transferring to Brookdale Community College in New Jersey.  At Brookdale, Dillon competed at the NJCAA level and earned All-American Honors.  Dillon is a graduate of the University of Utah where he ran the Utah Club Tennis Team and earned a degree in Sports Management. Dillon is a PTR certified Professional in Adult, 10 and Under, 11-17 and High Performance. Dillon spends his free time in Park City enjoying hockey, golf and snowboarding.

 Melissa MELISSA ZUIDERVEEN, Tennis Administrator, USPTA Professional

Raised in Lowell, Michigan, Melissa quickly discovered her love for outdoor activities. Dabbling in a variety of activities, she spent the bulk of her High School time participating in marching band, snow skiing, and playing tennis. After competing at the NJCAA National level in both doubles and singles, Melissa transitioned to the teaching side of tennis. Prior to graduating from Ferris State University’s Professional Tennis Management program, she obtained her USPTA Certification and began working under numerous Elite Professionals. Her teaching experiences took her across the country: Leland Country Club, MI, Boulder Country Club, CO, Camp Walt Whitman, NH and P.C. M.A.R.C., UT. Working under former USPTA President and BYU Head Coach, Dave Porter brought her new insight about the techniques of tennis. She loves sharing her tennis knowledge with those eager to learn. When Melissa’s not working, she can be found skiing, hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities.

 Hunter Nicholas HUNTER NICHOLAS, PTR, TPT Certified
Born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1991, Hunter indulged in a life of athletics at a young age. Through baseball, Basketball, football, hockey and soccer, tennis is the sport that stuck. As a top 50 nationally ranked junior, Hunter signed to play for San Diego State University from 2010-2014. As an Aztec, Hunter led the team to a Mountain West regular season Championship in 2013. He also achieved All-Mountain West honors all 4 years in doubles and singles as a senior. After graduating in 2014, Hunter went on to win 5 ITF futures titles in doubles and achieved a ranking of #345  in doubles and #953 in singles on the ATP World Tour. Throughout the years, Hunter has taught the game of tennis at almost all levels as an Assistant Pro for the PC MARC as well as Cliff Drysdale Tennis at Red Ledges. When Hunter isn’t on the court he can be found in the Backcountry, climbing, skiing or backpacking.
