Park City is located within the wildland urban interface, is bordered by significant forest, and contains significant open space within City limits. These areas provide recreational opportunities and economic benefits for residents and visitors alike, and a detailed understanding of the associated wildfire hazard will help the City prepare plans, prioritize projects, apply for grant funding and implement strategies to better manage risk.
