NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR COMMUNITY WILDFIRE RISK ASSESSMENT (NON-BID)

 

Project Name: Community Wildfire Risk Assessment

Project Location: Park City, Utah

Project Description: Park City Municipal Corporation (“PCMC”) requests proposals from qualified entities to create a Wildfire Risk Assessment for the Park City Community, which provides guidance and principles for assessing and mitigating wildfire risk, including, but not limited to, assessment of hazardous fuels, forest management, land use planning, and resource preservation.  Park City is located within the wildland urban interface, is bordered by significant forest, and contains significant open space within City limits.  These areas provide recreational opportunities and economic benefits for residents and visitors alike, and a detailed understanding of the associated wildfire hazard will help the City prepare plans, prioritize projects, apply for grant funding and implement strategies to better manage risk.

RFP Available: A copy of the RFP will be available Wednesday, November 17, 2021, and can be obtained electronically by emailing Logan Jones, Trails and Open Space Coordinator, at logan.jones@parkcity.org. Specifications will be available via email request from November 17, 2021, until December 15, 2021.

Propoals Dues: By 2:00 p.m.  MST on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, via email to Logan Jones, Trails and Open Space Coordinator, at logan.jones@parkcity.org. Due to email size limits it is recommended that proposals be submitted using a file hosting service.

 

All questions shall be submitted via email to logan.jones@parkcity.org no later than 2:00 p.m. MST on Friday, December 10, 2021.

 

Park City Municipal Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received for any reason. Furthermore, PCMC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any minor irregularities in any proposal.
