NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR Park City Municipal Corporation

Cross Country Skiing Operation Concessionaire (Non-Bid)

 

Park City Municipal Corporation (“PCMC”) is seeking proposals for a cross country skiing operation concessionaire to provide world class recreational cross country and other winter recreation services for residents and visitors alike.

 

RFP AVAILABLE:

A copy of the RFP will be available September 18, 2019, and can be obtained either in person or electronically by emailing Logan Jones, Trails and Open Space Coordinator, at logan.jones@parkcity.org or in person at Park City Municipal Corporation, 445 Marsac Ave., Third Floor, Sustainability Department, Park City, UT 84060. Specifications will be available at the above location or via email request from September 18, 2019, until September 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

PROPOSAL DUES: By 2:00 p.m. on September 30, 2019 via hand delivery to Logan Jones, Trails and Open Space Coordinator, Park City Municipal Corporation, 445 Marsac Avenue, Third Floor, Sustainability Department, Park City, UT 84060, OR via email to logan.jones@parkcity.org.

PROJECT LOCATION: Park City, Utah

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: PCMC is soliciting proposals for the operation of a Cross Country Skiing Operation Concessionaire based at the Park City Golf Club, 1541 Thaynes Canyon Drive, Park City, Utah.  The successful proposer will operate a retail and rental cross country ski shop; provide for private cross country ski lessons and tours and a minimum three (3), five (5), and fourteen (14) kilometer groomed ski tracks located primarily on the City owned golf course and adjacent open spaces and trails including, but not limited to, the McPolin Farm Open Space.  These services will operate under a one (1) year lease agreement with PCMC.

 

All questions shall be submitted in writing by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2019, via e-mail to: logan.jones @parkcity.org.

 

Park City Municipal Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received for any reason. Furthermore, the City shall have the right to waive any informality or technicality in proposals received when in the best interest of the City.

In the absence of the project manager, proposals should be dropped off to the City Recorder, located at 445 Marsac Avenue, Third Floor – Executive Department, Park City, UT 84060.
