Park City Council to Meet to Consider Annexation Petition

Park City, Utah – The Park City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. to consider approving the petition to annex approximately 1,200 acres of land in the Richardson Flat and Clark Ranch area for future consideration.

This special meeting is the next step in a long-planned annexation at the City’s eastern border. If the City Council approves the petition, a robust public process will be launched. Denial of the petition would halt the public process.

Park City initiated the annexation last week and this is the next step required by Utah state law. Summit County sent property owners in the area, and within 300 feet of the annexation border, notice of the City’s intent to annex this week. The City provided notice to affected entities, including other governmental entities who provide services in the area.
