Leadership Park City Announces Upcoming Schedule

Leadership will prolong Class 26 due to the impacts of COVID-19

Post Date:06/22/2020 2:55 PM

Park City, Summit County, Utah (June 17, 2020) — Leadership Park City, now in its 26th year, is an award-winning, community-wide leadership training program. At the core of the program’s success is the person-to-person networking opportunities afforded to participants. As part of the program each year, classes meet monthly to learn, discuss and work together on a wide variety of subjects and projects. Unfortunately, due to outbreak of COVID-19, Class 26 met digitally via Zoom beginning in March, which impacted the opportunity for personal interaction and altered the Leadership experience as a whole.

Consequently, Leadership Park City will prolong Class 26 programming into November with the hope to once again meet in person for an additional three sessions.

Pending ongoing health concerns, Leadership plans to begin recruiting for Class 27 in November 2020, and welcome the incoming Leadership class in January 2021.

This year’s CityTour, originally scheduled to visit Sedona and Flagstaff, AZ, September 9-13, has been cancelled with the intent to reschedule in September 2021.
