Commonly Asked Questions After Library's COVID-19 Closure

Should I return my materials? Will I accrue fines or fees? What if I have items from the YouCreate Lab?
Please keep all of your materials until we reopen. There will be no fines or fees. The outdoor book drop is also closed.

I didn't pick up my hold. Will it still be there when you reopen?
Yes. We will be extending holds and will contact you when we reopen.

I requested materials through Inter-Library Loan. What will happen with those?
We will work with other libraries to extend the loan dates for requests that were already in process. We are suspending new Inter-Library Loan (ILL) requests until we reopen.

I am having problem logging into online resources.
Try using a capitol letter at the beginning of your library card ("P" or "T" depending on card type). Our default PIN is the month and day of your birthday (4 digits). If you are trying to log into a State Library resource, try
adding their code to the beginning of your library card number. Their code
is
S5P84060 .

My card is expired or about to expire, can I still use e-resources?
If your card has expired between these dates: January - June 30, 2020 it has been automatically renewed until July 31st, so you can use our e-resources.

When will the Library open?
Please visit the Library's main webpage for any updates on our closure and opening date.

What resources can my kids use while they are out of school?
The Library has compiled a list of e-resources for you available here. This includes videos by Ms. Katrina and Ms. Bianca's favorite stories and songs from their storytimes.

I'm looking to use online resources. What is available?
With your library card you can read e-books or e-magazines, listen to e-audiobooks, and stream movies on your computer or device from home. See our downloadables webpage. For more e-resources like New York Times online, Creative Bug, Consumer Reports, and more, visit our database wepage

How do I stay up to date on what is happening regarding the Library?
