Boards & Commissions

Boards and commissions are a great opportunity to get more involved in, and serve your community. Park City Municipal is currently looking for members to serve on the following boards and committee. Interested applicants must reside in Park City limits. For more information, we invite you to the contact staff members listed with each opportunity.

Library Board
The Library Board of Trustees, representing the citizens of Park City, and working in partnership with the Library Director, evaluates library services and community needs, establishes library policies, and sets goals to be implemented by the director and staff. Board members inform others about library services, needs, and accomplishments to foster a positive public image and build community support. The Board meets the third Wednesday of each month from 12:00-1:30 p.m. The Board anticipates upcoming openings for two seats. Please contact Adriane Juarez Adriane.jaurez@parkcity.org for more information.

Friends of the McPolin Farm
The Friends of the Farm are a volunteer advisory committee to Park City Municipal staff.  The Friends promote education, engagement, and interpretation of the McPolin Farm.  As custodians of this iconic site, they are committed to preservation, accessibility, and enjoyment of the Farm through events and site improvements, and are a vital resource to the community, staff and City Council. The Friends meet the second Monday of each month at 5 p.m. Those that are interested are not required to reside within Park City Limits, but should have some connection to Park City and the Farm. Friends of the Farm are appointed by City Staff to serve three year terms. Please contact minda.stockdale@parkcity.org for more information.

Public Art Advisory Board
The function of the Public Art Advisory Board is to perform an assessment of Park City's cultural art needs, create a public art plan, procure more funds for art, establish guidelines for public art, process and review art and ultimately make recommendations to the City Council on art projects, programs, and funding. The Board is administered by the Park City Summit County Arts Council. The Park City Public Art Advisory Board (PAAB) will have three vacancies in the spring. Applications will be available in April. Those that are interested in serving on the board must reside in Park City Limits and are appointed by City Council to serve three year terms. For more information please contact Jenny Diersen at jenny.diersen@parkcity.org and visit the Board’s website.
