Our Historic Main Street is one of the precious gems of Park City that locals and visitors enjoy.  The downtown streets predate the invention of the automobile.  Today, Main Street and its surrounding streets serve many competing interests. Many different uses compete for the downtown parking resource with one common goal - serve the Main Street visitor. Over 75% of public parking is available free of charge in the historic Main Street area.

The most convenient customer parking is $1.50/hour with a 3-hour limit and is located in:
Street spaces on Main Street ($1.50 per hour 3-hour limit)
Brew Pub Lot at the top of Main Street ($1.50 per hour 3-hour limit)

Free customer parking with a 4-hour limit is located in:
Swede Alley lots
China Bridge Garage Levels 1-3
Upper Level of Gateway Garage (located on Heber Avenue between Main and Swede Alley)

Free all-day parking is located in the following lots accessed from Marsac Avenue:
China Bridge parking structure roof (No parking 3am - 7am.)
Sandridge Lots
North Marsac Lot

Park City has a world class bus system. If you are planning a vacation here, remember you can get around to ski, shop, and dine without even needing a car. Plus, many private transportation providers operate Salt Lake International Airport and Park City.

Enforcement
Parking Services maintains an enforcement philosophy that:

  1. Supports City ordinances
  2. Promotes traffic and pedestrian safety, and
  3. Encourages turnover of available on-street parking spaces in order to increase the likelihood of locating a convenient place to park.

In general, parking can be enforced at any time during times listed on posted signs. In general, pay zones are enforced from 11a.m. to 8 p.m. and 4-hour zones from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
