Mayor Dana Williams



Term of Office: Jan. 2006 to Jan. 2010

The Mayor is the chief executive of the City, officially represents the City on public and ceremonial occasions, executes and authenticates legal instruments/documents of the City, and exercises all other duties and such powers as are conferred upon him by ordinance. The Mayor presides at the City Council meetings and only votes in the event of a tie.

About Dana
Dana's family has a long and colorful history in the Park City area. He ran thefamily farm until 1990, and in 1984 received the Farmer of the Year award for Summit County. Dana, his wife Lisa and their two children moved into Park City proper in 1990 and he became a realtor with Coldwell Banker and has earned his Lifetime Achievement Award from the Park City Board of Realtors. Over the past decade, Dana has worked on land preservation and responsible growth and was named the 1999 Rotary Citizen of the Year. He has also been a strong advocate for affordable housing and quality of life issues. He championed the city's new skateboard park and continues to play and sing in the highly popular Motherlode Canyon Band.
