(Term: Jan. 2004 to Jan. 2008) Email: cerickson@parkcity.org Candy is originally from the East Coast raised in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and upstate New York. She chose the University of Colorado as a good location to spend more time on the slopes while appearing to study for a degree in Environmental Design. Before settling on Park City as a permanent home, Candy spent almost five years in Sun Valley, Idaho, working in advertising, sales and marketing while improving her skiing technique. Since moving to Park City in 1983, Candy has worked as a manager of the Park City Racquet Club, in the lodging industry with Jupiter Property Management, in advertising with Mrs. Fields Cookies and, most recently, sales with Park City Magazine and the Activities Center. Her free time has been spent as a soccer coach, working with the Women's Business Network raising scholarship funds for Park City High School students, fundraising for KPCW, playing tennis and, of course, skiing. |

(Term: Jan. 2002 to Jan. 2006) Email: jim@parkcity.org Jim is a native of San Francisco, and graduated from San Jose State with a Business degree. He came to Park City in 1988 as the Director of Finance and Administration for Lucas Aerospace, and was part of the initial start-up team for a new manufacturing facility in the Silver Creek Commerce Center. Jim and his family decided that Park City would be their home, and after leaving Lucas, Jim spent 4 years as a commercial real estate appraiser and 5 years as Controller for East West Resorts before his present position in real estate sales with Jess Reid Real Estate. Jim was appointed to the Park City Planning Commission in 1997, also served on the Citizens Open Space Advisory Committee and the joint Park City/Snyderville Basin Planning Commission sub-committee. Jim has also served in many positions with Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church Council, including a recent stint as president. He enjoys all the resort sports (hiking, biking, skiing, boating, etc.), festivals and cultural activities our town offers. He and his wife, Diane, live in Park Meadows, have two grown children, and delight in caring for and spoiling their grandchildren whenever they can. |

Joe is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Utah, he pursued a career in Finance. Early responsibilities included revenue auditing and SBA business loan collections, which then evolved into economic development as a business development professional for Allegheny County. Joe was successful in the implementation of a new export development program for the World Trade Center Pittsburgh, packaging business loans up to $4.5 million, and recruiting several companies to Pittsburgh. This effort created over 700 jobs. Joe then worked as the Director of Planning and Regulatory Affairs for Cima Teknology, a small manufacturer of ophthalmic products with world wide distribution. Joe has completed post graduate training programs in international trade, mediation, and economic development. Since returning to Utah in 1993 and making Park City his home, he has owned and expanded Good Earth Recycling. Joe also worked as a capital budget consultant for water companies and served on a variety of local, county, and state boards and committees. Joe's public service has focused on water issues, political ethics, recreation, community building and children. . .his passion. He has been a youth coach or ski instructor for over 20 years and has served as a Big Brother in Pittsburgh and Park City. In his free time, Joe enjoys skiing, bicycling, and inventing. He recently received two U. S. patents. |

Liza came to Park City in 1989 after living in St George, Utah and Sun Valley, Idaho. Originally from Berkeley, California, she moved to Park City to work for Mrs. Fields Cookies.
Her first day at work was Arts Festival Weekend and she sold Robert Redford a brownie! She went from Mrs. Fields to the lodging industry, as part of the management team at the Old Miners' Lodge Bed and Breakfast until 2004.
She has worked on Main Street, managing Java Cow Cafe, and currently for Dolly's Bookstore. She and her husband Chris Wickland were married in City Park. They enjoy the trails both winter and summer with their two Welsh Corgis. Liza has volunteered for Park City Park Hosts, Planned Parenthood, during the Olympics for the City and VIS, Riding for the Range, Latino outreach, Peace House and served on the Recreation Advisory Board from 2003 until 2008.
