The Engineering Department has the responsibility to coordinate, review and approve all private-funded public improvements initiated by the development community, beginning with design through the actual construction and eventual final acceptance. In addition, the City Engineer has project review and management of many of the City's Capital Improvement Projects. The Public Improvements Inspector inspects all water line installation, as well as all work in the public right-of-way. The City Engineer's office is responsible for updating the Design Standards, Construction Specifications and Standard Drawings book.
The City Engineer's office also works closely with the Planning and Building Divisions of the Executive Department. It is located at 445 Marsac Avenue, Park City, Utah.

Bonanza Drive Corridor and Pedestrianization Plan
Park City, in conjunction with H.W. Lochner and Fehr and Peers, is currently producing a corridor and pedestrianization plan for Bonanza Drive. The 20 year corridor plan will build on related studies undertaken with the City (including the Park City Walkability Study) and will recommend phased roadway improvements to meet future travel needs along Bonanza Drive. It will also address modes of transportation includin gbicyclists, pedestrians and transit users and will incorporate comments received via the extensive public involvement approach that has been designed for the project. The goal of the corridor plan is to provide a transportation facility that complements the surroundings and is an asset to the community.
A Bonanza Drive Corridor Project Open House will be held Monday, November 12, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Miners Hospital Community Center, 1354 Park Avenue, Park City, Utah.
