Other Licenses

For Hire Vehicle Licenses
Anyone who is offering a Taxi, Shuttle and/or a Limo service (in the Park City Limits), from which they are earning revenue, must obtain a Taxi/Shuttle business license. The following is required of all new applicants:

Requirements for each vehicle:

  • Fees:
    • $71.83 administration fee.
    • $15.00 one time inspection fee.
    • $78.831 per vehicle.
    • $3.00 sticker replacement fee.
  • An inspection form certifying the taxicab or shuttle has passed all requirements established in the Park City Vehicle Inspection Checklist or a current Airport Inspection form, also known as an "AVI Inspection."
  • Proof of Insurance:
    • $1.5 million for each vehicle with under 16 passengers
    • $5.0 million for each vehicle with 16 or more passengers
  • Proof of current year's registration.

Sexually Oriented Business License

Solicitor's License
Anyone who wishes to solicit goods in Park City must obtain a Solicitor's License.
The following is required of all new applicants:

  • General Business License Application.
  • Criminal background check through the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigation for each solicitor. (See State Requirements section.)
  • Fees:
    • $75.00 fee for the business
    • $10.00 per solicitor.
  • Police department approval
Film Permits and Master Festival Licensing:
Anyone that wishes to have a master festival or receive a film permit must first contact Park City's Special Events Coordinator at (435) 615-5151.
  • Master Festival and Special Events Application Part I and Part II
  • Film permit fees:
    • $6.00 per vehicle
    • $30.00 per oversized vehicle, i.e. vans, trailers
Convention Sales Licensing:
The following is required of all new applicants:
  • Convention Sales License Application
  • Physical address of where the event will be held
  • Date and time of event.
  • A letter of consent from the venue stating dates and times of event.
  • Each vender is required to obtain a separate license.
  • Fees:
    • $55.00 per vendor
    • $15.00 inspection fee for each event.
Sidewalk Sale Permit
This is a permit used to allow a business to sell merchandise outside of their licensed premise. The sidewalk sale permit is good for a maximum of 5 consecutive days, five times per year.

The following is required:

  • Fees: $5.00.
  • Must have current business license.
  • Business name, business license number, date and time of sale.
