Today, Mayor Andy and Council hosted community members for a preview and tour of The Retreat at the Park, PCMC's newest affordable housing community. The Retreat is 10 years in the making, starting with the purchase of the land in 2008, groundbreaking in 2016, and soon eight homeowners will move into their new homes. Developing affordable housing for a diverse range of income levels is a key component to keeping Park City a complete community, and one of the reasons the community has made affordable housing a critical priority. Thanks to all who contributed to the development of The Retreat at the Park. And to our new homeowners, welcome home!

Last night, City Council unanimously passed the resolution to place the Treasure Hill Purchase Agreement on the November ballot. The purchase agreement stipulates a purchase price of $64 million, most of which would be financed by a general-obligation bond. (If the bond fails, a settlement agreement would immediately go into effect, and the Planning Commission would begin evaluation of that settlement). More information on the purchase agreement, including a timeline of important milestones, can be found here: http://bit.ly/2HkBch4
